The National
Restaurant Association estimates there are some 900,000 restaurants
and food service outlets in the United States doing $476 billion
in annual sales. Restaurant sales account for nearly half of every
dollar spent on food. Most importantly, despite high unemployment
in many other traditional sectors of the economy, the restaurant
industry now employs an estimated 12.2 million people, making
it the nation's largest employer outside of government.
Oregon Culinary Institute at Pioneer Pacific College can open

40-week Culinary Arts diploma
program and a 70-week
Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts in a beautiful
