Paul Weiler, February 2007 After doing his externship at The Stephanie Inn, Wayfarer and Lumberyard restaurants in Cannon Beach, OR, he went on to work as assistant to the chef at Forest Hills Golf Course in Cornelius, OR. Recently, he accepted a position as Assistant Chef at the Joel Palmer House in Dayton, OR (Oregon Wine Country), where he works with Jack Czarnecki-a renowned mushroom expert-and his son Chris, the Chef-de-Cuisine. Congratulations!
Gregory Scofield, February 2007 Gregory performed his externship at the Four Season's Resort in Jackson Hole, Wyoming with our first cycle of externs, graduating in February 2007. He was hired on as a Cook III and continues to enjoy being part of the kitchen team in a five star resort. Congratulations!
Daren Hayes, February 2007 Daren had big plans starting his own business after finishing OCI's culinary diploma program producing raw chocolate products for retail. He had a goal and pursued his passion. After completing his externship, he has successfully patterned his products, producing and selling retail locally under his business name, "Stirs The Soul" products. If you haven't tasted them... I would strongly advise everyone to seek and taste! I'm sure this will be a product nationally known soon! Another Congrats!!
