Admissions Requirements
General Requirements
Applicants to Oregon Culinary's programs must have a high school diploma or equivalent, such as successful passage of the General Education Development (GED) test or completion of an accredited home study course.
In addition, applicants will be required to take the ACT Career Programs Assessment test, unless they can show proof of completion of at least one academic year in post-secondary education with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. This test measures basic skills in reading, writing and mathematics. It assures us that applicants have the requisite skills to successfully complete their culinary program.
Transfer Requirements
Up to one-third of the total credit requirement for Oregon Culinary Institute's programs may be awarded by means of transfer credit. If you have credits you're interested in transferring, or want to learn more about this process, call our admissions representative and we'll give you step-by-step instructions.
