The Oregon Culinary Institute, a division of Pioneer Pacific
College, is pleased to announce dinner service at their fine-dining
restaurant. The restaurant located at 1701 SW Jefferson St. in
downtown Portland will begin serving a four-course, prix-fixe
dinner on February 28th. There will be one seating at 7pm Monday
through Thursday. Seating is limited and the restaurant may be
closed to the public for special instruction or private parties
so reservations are suggested.
To make reservations call 503-961-6200.
All meals are prepared by Oregon Culinary Institute students
with supervision from the vastly experienced OCI faculty. Chef
Josh Blythe, previously of the acclaimed Roux restaurant in Portland,
has joined the OCI faculty as a Chef Instructor and will team
with Chefs Roy Perez and Larry Rivera as well as Dining Room Manager
Tony Hall to direct the menu design, practical restaurant education
and operations. The prix-fixe dinner will cost just $14.00 with
non-alcoholic beverages available for $1.00 including free re-fills.
Beer and wines by-the-glass are also available ranging from $2.00
to $8.00, as well as a full list of wines by the bottle. Diners
will choose selections from soups, salads, entrees and desserts.
All Oregon Culinary Institute meals are prepared using the freshest,
seasonal Northwest Ingredients. The restaurant can accommodate
45 diners with additional seating at the exhibition kitchen chef's
counter and wine bar.
Oregon Culinary Institute's restaurant has been open for lunch
since September 2006. Lunch is served Monday through Thursday
