FEES

All programs require a $50 Application Fee to be paid when the Enrollment Agreement is completed, a $500 Registration Fee that will be charged to the student’s account on or after the first day of the term in which they start classes, and a $50 Graduation Fee that will be charged to the student’s account at the beginning of their final term of study.

Oregon Culinary Institute’s academic measurement system is quarter credit hours. Each program has an average tuition per credit as listed on the catalog insert. Students required to repeat a course because of a failing grade or withdrawal for any reason will be charged tuition at this rate.

All tuition and fees for the term must be paid at the time of registration unless documented arrangements for disbursement of financial aid and/or other payment plans have been made.

ADDITIONAL FEES

PROGRAM CHANGE FEE

A $50 fee will be charged to any student making a change from one program to another.

REENTRY FEE

A $50 fee will be charged to any student reentering the college after having withdrawn from school. A student may appeal the $50 re-entry fee if they withdraw for the following conditions only: Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) covered circumstances or military students called to active duty. Students should submit an appeal in writing to the Corporate Director of Financial Aid along with supporting documentation. Students returning from an official leave of absence on the scheduled date will not be charged a fee.

CHALLENGE EXAMINATION FEE

A $75 fee will be charged for each challenge attempted to determine advanced standing. Each applicant is required to test for keyboarding placement if KEY110 is part of the student’s program. If an applicant is unsuccessful challenging KEY110, they will not be charged a challenge examination fee

TRANSCRIPT FEE

The first official transcript is issued upon graduation free of charge. Additional transcripts are $5 each. A signed release is required before any transcripts will be released.

RETURNED CHECK FEE

Students will be required to pay a $25 fee for all checks written to the College that get returned for insufficient funds.

REPLACEMENT DIPLOMA FEE

Students will be charged $10 to replace a diploma.

DAMAGE FEES

Students will be charged for the repair or replacement of any equipment lost or damaged through negligence or willful mischief. This includes damage to any part of the building or its immediate surroundings.

REGISTRATION FEE

All students are charged a $500 registration fee. A registration fee will only be charged for the student’s first enrollment at Pioneer Pacific College.

APPLICATION FEE

All students are charged a $50 application fee with the following exceptions:

  • Students who cancel less than one year from their enrollment date and enroll in the same or different program.
  • Active students who change programs within one week of their start date.
  • Active students preparing to graduate from a program and seeking to enroll in new program.

LAB FEES

Some programs require lab fees.

Culinary Fees - Diploma

A $900 fee is charged at the beginning of the program and is non-refundable. Students upgrading to an AOS degree program are charged an additional $300.

Culinary Fees – Associate

A $1,200 fee is charged at the beginning of the program and is non-refundable. Students who downgrade to Diploma will not have a change in their fee.
