Once you have enrolled at Oregon Culinary Institute, a financial aid officer will help you determine the best opportunities for your particular situation and help you through the application process for financial aid. Federal Financial Aid grants and/or loans are available to those who qualify. The financial office can also discuss with you information about possible scholarships and payment plan options.
How to Apply for Federal Financial Aid
The financial aid process begins with completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). You can obtain a copy at Oregon Culinary Institute, or apply online at
www.fafsa.ed.gov. This is a FREE form. You should NEVER have to pay for any Federal Financial Aid or Scholarship search. At the end of the application, be sure to include our FAFSA Federal School Code: 016520 Pioneer Pacific College (Oregon Culinary Institute’s parent company). The FAFSA application requires specific information necessary to determine your financial aid eligibility, such as income, assets and household size. If you are a dependent student, you will also be asked to provide that information for your parent(s) as well. If you or your parents have unusual circumstances, please contact our Financial Aid Office to discuss your situation. Our phone numbers are 503.961.6200 or toll free 1.888.OCI.CHEF.
Payment Plan Options
We offer a term-based payment plan option for students or parents who do not wish to take out loans. Find out more from our Financial Aid department.
